What we collect

From the request form: your name, business name, email, phone, site address and postcode, venue type, approximate staff or footfall, whether a machine is already on site, notes you choose to add, and the two consent ticks.

Server logs on Hostinger may include IP address, browser type and the pages requested. We do not run a marketing pixel on this site.

Why we use it

To qualify whether your Bristol site is likely to interest a vending operator, to contact you about that, and — if you ticked the box — to introduce one matched operator by sharing the enquiry with them.

The lawful bases we rely on are:

• Legitimate interests (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(f)) in assessing the enquiry and contacting you about whether the site is a fit. There is no vending-service contract with us.
• Consent (Article 6(1)(a)) for sharing your details with one operator. You can refuse that tick; we then cannot make the introduction.

Who we share it with

If the site is a fit and you consented, one local vending operator. Not a list of operators. We also use our email and hosting provider (currently Hostinger) to receive and store messages. We do not sell enquiry lists.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept for up to 24 months so we can answer “did you already introduce this site?” and deal with any dispute about an exclusive lead. Unsuitable enquiries may be deleted sooner. Operators we introduce will have their own retention once they hold a copy.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, delete it, restrict it, or object to legitimate-interests processing, and you can withdraw consent for sharing with an operator (that cannot unwind a share already made, but we will not make a new one). Email hello@bristolvending.com.

You can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

Transfers and children

Hosting may store mail outside the UK; we use a UK/EEA-facing Hostinger account where available. This service is for businesses, not for children.
